Dan Wright

Lead Field Engineer at UK Power Networks Holdings Limited

Dan Wright has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Dan started their career as an Electrical Maintenance Apprentice at E.ON UK in September 2007 and progressed to become an Electrical Maintenance Technician in May 2011. In September 2011, they joined National Grid as a Substation Field Engineer and worked there until December 2013. Since January 2014, Dan has been with UK Power Networks, where they initially served as a Field Engineer and is currently working as the Lead Field Engineer.

Dan Wright completed their education in a chronological manner, starting from The Hundred of Hoo Academy from 2001 to 2007, where they did not earn a specific degree or have a field of study. From 2007 to 2009, they attended IPS International, specializing in Operations and Maintenance Engineering, earning an ONC degree. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering at MidKent College. Finally, from 2011 to 2013, Dan attended Aston University, pursuing a Foundation Degree in Power Systems Engineering.
