Max Taylor

Max Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy policy and resilience management. Currently serving as the Policy and Engagement Manager at UK Power Networks since October 2017, Max plays a vital role in managing the electricity infrastructure for 8.4 million homes and businesses. Previously, Max held the position of Senior Risk & Resilience Policy Advisor at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, focusing on mitigating risks to energy supply. Earlier experience includes roles at the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the UK Ministry of Defence, in addition to engineering work at TAIT Stage Technologies. Max holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
