Daniel Wise is a seasoned professional in the field of scientific research and development, currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Origin Sciences since March 2022 and as a Medical Laboratory Technical Assessor at UKAS since December 2022. Previous roles include Laboratory Director & Chief Scientific Officer, Associate Director of Research & Development, and Principal Scientist at Excalibur Diagnostics until September 2023, as well as Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca for a brief period. Daniel's academic journey includes a PhD in Immunology from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Master's degree in Plant Pathogen Interactions and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Exeter.
