Richard Proffitt has extensive experience in the field of forensics, chemical, and environmental sciences, currently serving as an Assessment Manager at UKAS since October 2018. Prior to this, Richard worked at the National Laboratory Service (Environment Agency) from April 2003 to July 2018 as a Development Chemist and Site Safety Officer, focusing on the development of analytical methods for organic environmental determinants using advanced chromatographic techniques and software. Richard holds a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety and earned an HND in Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University.
