Joshua Chong Yong Ping is currently an Executive Councillor at UKEC and a Production Officer at the Malaysian Students' Society of Manchester. Previously, Joshua served as the Student Representative's Council Assistant Secretary at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur and as the President of LEO Club International. Joshua also held leadership roles at MCKL and WMSKL(I) and is pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences in Computer Science at The University of Manchester.

Nation’s Interest at Heart. UKEC is short for the United Kingdom and Eire (Ireland) Council for Malaysian Students. UKEC is the umbrella body and national coalition of all Malaysian student societies across Britain and Ireland. Officially founded in 1995, UKEC serves as a common platform of interaction for Malaysian students across the region, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
