Nation’s Interest at Heart. UKEC is short for the United Kingdom and Eire (Ireland) Council for Malaysian Students. UKEC is the umbrella body and national coalition of all Malaysian student societies across Britain and Ireland. Officially founded in 1995, UKEC serves as a common platform of interaction for Malaysian students across the region, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
