Chad Matthies

Chad Matthies is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Chief Growth Officer at Ukko Agro Inc. since March 2024, Chad previously held the position of Vice President of Enterprise Operations at Verge Agriculture from November 2021 to March 2024. Prior roles include Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Prairies at BASF from May 2018 to November 2021, and Vice President of International Business Development as well as Canadian Business Manager at Agrian Inc. from May 2014 to May 2018. Chad began their career as Technical Sales and Agronomy Lead at Crop Production Services between January 2013 and May 2014. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba, earned from 2001 to 2005.
