Bernhard Van Lengerich

Bernhard Van Lengerich is a business advisor who has over 25 years of experience in the food industry. Bernhard is currently a board member of Beyond Meat, a plant-based protein company located in El Segundo, CA. Prior to that, they were the Chief Science Officer and Vice President of Technology Strategy at General Mills. In this role, they were responsible for the development of new technologies and the implementation of strategic technology initiatives. Before joining General Mills, they were Vice President of Global Food Research & Development at Buhler. Bernhard has also held positions at Nabisco and the Institute of Food Technologists.

Bernhard Van Lengerich has a Dr.-Ing. in Food- and Biotechnology from the Technische Universität Berlin, as well as a Dipl.-Ing. in Food Technology and Processing from the same school.
