Ian Dowds is an accomplished digital media executive with extensive experience spanning over three decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CEO of UKOM since September 2015, Ian has been instrumental in establishing multi-platform audience measurement standards in collaboration with industry stakeholders. Prior experience includes co-founding and directing Inside Digital Media Ltd., and serving as Vice President & General Manager for Brand, Europe at InMobi, where brand marketing initiatives were driven across multiple regions. Ian's previous positions also include Managing Director of Digital Media at Trinity Mirror Group PLC, Senior Vice-President at Specific Media, and Sales Director at Turner Broadcasting System. With a solid background in media ownership and agency functions, Ian possesses a unique perspective on digital and mobile growth strategies, data partnerships, and programmatic landscapes. Ian holds a BA Hons in English & Related Literature from the University of York and a Management Certificate from The Open University.

UK Online Measurement Company (UKOM): Industry governed, multi-platform audience measurement in partnership with Ipsos iris UKOM is equally co-owned by the Association of Online Publishers (AOP), the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB UK) and The Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (ISBA) The Institute of Practitioners of Advertising (IPA) are represented on UKOM’s executive board in an advisory role. UKOM’s primary function is one of standard setting and governance. Fundamentally UKOM is the key industry stakeholders coming together to identify, define and govern a common UK industry standard for online audience measurement.
