Olga Shafran

Olga Shafran has a diverse work experience. Olga co-founded Ukraine TrustChain in 2022 and currently holds the role of Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked as a Teacher at Niles Township High School District 219 starting from 2003. In 2016, they founded Ironed Curtains, an online publication that aimed to provide a platform for Americans with Soviet roots to discuss their experiences and perspectives. Olga successfully grew the publication and led a team of 7 until May 2021.

Olga Shafran began their education in 1999 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Olga pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and successfully completed their studies in 2003. Following this, they enrolled at National Louis University in 2004 and completed a Master of Education degree in English as a Second Language/Bilingual Education in 2007.
