Diane Haithcock

Diane Haithcock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in standards and safety certification, currently serving as the Director of Standards Programs at UL Standards & Engagement since August 2010. In this role, Diane oversees UL and ULC standards pertaining to building materials, life safety, and physical security, driven by a strong commitment to safety and stakeholder needs. Her career at UL began in October 2005 as a Section Manager and Project Engineer, focusing on product safety certification for firefighter protective clothing and equipment. Diane's foundational experience includes work as a Project Engineer from 1998 to 2002, where responsibilities included investigations in various fire protection areas. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University.
