Al Zucco

Al Zucco currently serves as the Vice President of Safety & Sustainability at UL, a position held since January 2022. Prior to joining UL, Al Zucco had a lengthy tenure at USG from December 1988 to January 2022, where roles included Vice President of Sustainable Supply Chain, Senior Director of Energy & Sustainability, and Director of Strategic Sourcing, among others, culminating in the position of Director of Supply Chain Management Implementation for all North American facilities. Al Zucco's career also encompasses various roles in manufacturing, engineering, and project management. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Values-Driven Leadership from Benedictine University (2015 - May 2023), an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University (1994 - 1996), and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems and Computer Architecture from Cleveland State University.
