Alvin Wu

Alvin Wu has over two decades of experience in the field of engineering, currently serving as the Research Manager at UL since November 2005, where responsibilities include researching the safety performance and behaviors of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, along with prior roles as a Research Engineer and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff. Earlier, Alvin Wu worked as a Project Manager at Emphasis Material Inc. from April 2005 to November 2005, focusing on the development of a roll-to-roll coating process, and as a Research Engineer at YUASA Battery from January 2000 to April 2005, where studies centered on battery materials. Alvin Wu holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University, earned between 1994 and 2000.
