Andrei Tanase is the Global Offshore Engineering Lead at UL Solutions, focusing on offshore wind projects and serving as a technical advisor and owner's engineer. With extensive experience in WTG foundation design, Andrei has contributed to the technical assessment of over 10 GW of offshore wind projects, coordinating various engineering disciplines. Prior to the current role, Andrei held positions as a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer at UL Solutions and Wood, providing technical support on multiple offshore and renewable energy projects. Andrei holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Coventry University and has been involved in various civil engineering roles since 2008.
