Bo Lin is a professional cryptographer and security practitioner with an extensive career in data security, having graduated with a Computer Science degree in 1984. Bo began their career in Cryptography and Data Security in 1985, working on secure satellite communication systems, and subsequently held academic positions as an Associate Professor before pursuing further education in the UK. Bo has worked with notable companies such as Motorola and Freescale, where they contributed to various security implementations, including Elliptic Curve Cryptography and network security protocols. Currently, Bo serves as the Group Leader at UL, managing the Basingstoke site and the Global Crypto Team, continuing to influence the field of cybersecurity.
