Brian Monks

Brian Monks has extensive experience in security and anti-counterfeiting operations, currently serving as VP & Chief Security Officer at UL LLC since June 2014. In addition to this role, Brian Monks has been the Vice President of Anti-Counterfeiting Operations at Underwriters Laboratories since October 1983, collaborating with various law enforcement agencies, including the US CBP, ICE, FBI, and RCMP, to combat counterfeiting. Previously, Brian Monks held the position of Quality Control Manager at Thermax Wire Corp from 1977 to 1983. Brian Monks holds an MBA from Dowling College, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Technology from the New York Institute of Technology, and an AAS in Design Drafting from Queensborough Community College of The City University of New York.
