Cory Anderson

Cory Anderson serves as the Business Strategy Leader at UL Solutions, specializing in Retail Compliance, Sustainability, and Supply Chain since May 2022. Prior to this role, Cory held significant positions at the Retail Council of Canada from September 2017 to May 2022, including Senior Manager, Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs, advocating for policies beneficial to Canada's retail industry. Cory's experience also includes serving as Policy Manager for the Office of the Critic for Interprovincial Trade at Parliament of Canada, where responsibilities involved research and policy analysis, and as Issues Manager at Citizenship and Immigration Canada, coordinating government responses to high-profile issues. Additionally, Cory contributed as Manager of Operations at Parliament of Canada, managing support during the 2013 Calgary Flood. Educational background includes an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa.
