Daniel O'Shea is currently the Principal Engineer for Emerging and Growth Markets within ULS's Engineered Materials division. As a Distinguished Member of ULS’s Technical Staff, they have completed ULS’s esteemed technical leadership program in collaboration with the MIT Sloan School of Management and received ULS’s highest employee accolade, the Mark of Excellence. A recognized global expert in Material Characterization and Hazard Based Safety Engineering (HBSE), Daniel drives quality and consistency in UL Solutions’ conformity assessment services across various industries. Active in numerous international technical committees, they have earned awards from ASTM and IEC for their contributions to industry standards. Daniel is also a Senior Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).
