David Coffey is a highly experienced Senior Wind Turbine Engineer with a career spanning several prestigious companies in the renewable energy sector. Currently at UL Solutions since February 2016, David focuses on reviewing advanced wind turbine technology and conducting extensive data analysis for wind project due diligence. Prior to this role, David worked at Iberdrola Renewables from May 2012 to February 2016, overseeing turbine O&M improvement projects for more than 4 GW of installed capacity across multiple OEM platforms. David also has experience with Vestas as a Continuous Improvement Platform Manager and held technical roles at Xerox. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
