Erich Meier

Erich Meier is a seasoned professional in the fields of technology and product management, currently holding dual roles as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Product Management at UL Solutions since July 2021. Previously, Erich served as CTO at Method Park by UL from May 2001 to June 2021, where the focus was on overseeing global product strategy and the development of the "Stages" process management software. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Research & Development and Consultant at Config e.G. from 1996 to 2001, where Erich designed and promoted "UnivIS," an information system widely adopted by German universities. Earlier career involvement spans research at Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen from 1995 to 2001, following the attainment of a Ph.D. in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 1995.
