Ilan Cohn

Ilan Cohn, P.E. is a Senior Project Engineer at UL Solutions, drawing on extensive experience in structural engineering and project management. Previously, they served as a Project Engineer at UL, where they evaluated stationary pumps and diesel engines while interfacing with clients and managing project documentation. Ilan began their career with research and teaching roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by a position as a Structural Associate II at Sargent & Lundy, where they managed complex structural design projects related to nuclear power plants. They hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
