Joel Ritschel

Joel Ritschel serves as the Global Director and General Manager of the Real Estate and Properties Advisory team at UL Solutions, a position held since September 2019. In this role, Ritschel provides enterprise and asset owners with solutions focused on indoor environmental quality, environmental, social, and governance criteria, and sustainability, particularly regarding health and wellness, green building certification, and decarbonization efforts. Prior experience includes National Operations Manager at Healthy Buildings, Regional Manager for Northern California, and various operational roles within Healthy Buildings Solutions. Ritschel's educational background includes a degree in Construction Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and an advanced degree in Technical Operations Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Ritschel is a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Energy Auditor, and a Renewable Energy Professional.
