Kui Wang

Kui Wang is a seasoned security engineer with expertise in power analysis and vulnerability exploitation of smart cards. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at UL since April 2017, Kui Wang specializes in utilizing laser and electromagnetic fault injection techniques. Previously, as a Hardware Evaluation Engineer at UL Transaction Security from July 2012 to March 2017, responsibilities included conducting penetration testing on embedded devices and reporting discovered weaknesses. Kui Wang also engaged in self-study at the University of Southampton in early 2012, focusing on MIPS microprocessor architecture and related topics, while providing guidance to students. Kui Wang holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the University of Central Lancashire.
