Lieke Hakkenberg is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles at UL since August 2014, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for Advisory Services. Hakkenberg has also held multiple senior HR positions within UL, including Head of HR for the Connected Technologies Business Unit and Global HR Business Partner for various sectors. Prior to UL, Hakkenberg was involved with the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands as a member of the People Committee and served as Group HR Manager and Senior HR Advisor at EWT, a global designer of wind turbines. Early career experiences include roles as Coordinator Recruitment/HR Consultant at USG Juristen and Unit Manager at Content. Hakkenberg holds a Master’s degree in History from Utrecht University, completed in 2003.
