Louis Chan is the Associate General Counsel at UL Solutions, where they provide commercial and intellectual property advice, manage international IP portfolios, and oversee anti-counterfeiting activities. Previously, Louis served as the Director of Registry of Trade Marks and Legal Counsel at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore from 2004 to 2010, and held the position of Director & Assistant General Counsel at Procter & Gamble from 2010 to 2012. They began their legal career as a Senior Legal Associate at Allen & Gledhill LLP from 1997 to 2004. Louis holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is a Registered Patent Attorney, as well as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
