Merry Yao

Merry Yao serves as the Suzhou Branch Manager at Underwriters Laboratories since May 2003, overseeing operations and product safety certification within the engineering team. Prior to this role, Merry held the position of Group Leader at the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology from July 1991 to February 2003, where responsibilities included reliability research, nuclear radiation effect studies, failure analysis for satellite-integrated circuits, and laboratory setup for semiconductor materials. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University and a Master of Engineering Physics, specializing in Nuclear Science Applications, from the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Science, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
