Michael Chen

Michael Chen is a Laboratory Engineer at UL Solutions since April 2023, following prior experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Dolby Laboratories from September 2021 to March 2022, where contributions included optimizing a program for command line argument parsing and developing a JSON parser using the cJSON library in C++. Earlier, Michael served as a Research Assistant at National Chiao Tung University in June 2017, under Professor Fuchun Joseph Lin, focusing on applications in the Internet of Things, including creating a pollution tracking program using Link-It One and Arduino programming in C. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, earned in 2014.
