Philipp Richard is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate counsel roles across multiple regions. Currently serving as Corporate Counsel EMEA & Latin America at Underwriters Laboratories since March 2012, Philipp is also a member of the Management Team for EMEA and Latin America. Previous positions include General Counsel for the Business Group Urban & Mobility and various legal roles at Pöyry from January 2003 to March 2012, as well as associate positions at Conrad Höchli and Thouvenin Attorneys between 2000 and 2002. Philipp holds an LL M in Commercial Law from The University of Edinburgh, a lic.iur. in law from Université de Fribourg, and has participated in an ERASMUS program at the University of Bristol, focusing on contracts, tort, and public international law. Additionally, Philipp is qualified as an attorney-at-law from the High Court Aarau.
