Robert Barbe

Robert Barbe is currently serving as the Market Development and Innovation Manager at UL Solutions since July 2022. Previously, Robert held the position of Manager within the Food and Nature Program at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development from July 2020 to July 2022, focusing on Scaling Positive Agriculture. Robert has also worked at Walmart in Global Sustainability, overseeing Project Gigaton and Walmart's Sustainable Chemistry Initiative, and served as a Teacher Assistant at Columbia University for a course on Ethics of Sustainability Management and Finance. Other experience includes roles at E3G as a Data Research Analyst, JFP Holdings as Vice President, and China Hydroelectric Corporation as a Financial Analyst. In addition, Robert worked as an Investment Manager at Innovative Carbon Investments and held a position as Sports Director at Culver Academies. Educational achievements include an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge.
