Ryan Covington

Ryan Covington has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as the Manager of Market Surveillance at UL Solutions since July 2006. Previous roles at UL Solutions include Lead Market Surveillance Engineer and Engineering Leader - Global Lighting. From January 2015 to January 2022, Ryan held the position of Engineering Manager at SonicAire / Integrated Environmental Solutions, focusing on research and development, safety compliance, and equipment design for managing fugitive and combustible dust. Earlier in Ryan's career, staff engineering roles were held at Carrier Corporation and Accident Reconstruction Analysis, Inc., specializing in replacement components and forensic engineering, respectively. Ryan Covington holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University.
