Sean Gorman

Sean Gorman is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Japan Regional Lead and interim Head of Offshore Wind for Technical Advisory Services at UL since February 2022. Prior to this, Sean held the position of Senior Renewable Energy Consultant at Wood from June 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included project management for offshore and onshore wind technical due diligence assignments across multiple countries including Taiwan, Vietnam, the UK, Germany, Jordan, and Pakistan. This experience contributed to an understanding of technical and commercial risks in renewable energy projects. Sean's earlier roles included positions at GE Power & Water and NCE Switchgear, starting with a Master's Degree in Computer Aided Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, obtained in 2015.
