Sean Tilley

Sean Tilley is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Business Manager for Renewables Technical Advisory at UL Solutions since May 2025, where expertise is focused on enhancing growth in solar, wind, and battery storage markets. Prior to this role, Sean spent nearly two decades at Black & Veatch, working in various leadership positions, including Emerging Renewable Energy Technology Solutions Leader and Global Technology Portfolio Manager, where contributions centered on driving innovation, optimizing energy management strategies, and expanding market presence in renewable solutions. Sean's earlier experience includes project management and engineering roles in wind energy, as well as a position with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee. Sean holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas.
