Steven Margis

Steven Margis is a global conformity assessment expert with over 35 years of experience in regulatory compliance and assessment. They held various roles at UL, including Director of Conformity Assessment Programs and Manager of International Compliance Services, where they developed strategic initiatives and mentored staff. Currently, Steven serves as Vice President and CAB Chair at the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), managing conformity assessment activities and promoting international relations. They have also contributed to the United States National Committee to the IEC and served on the board of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Steven earned a BSEE from Marquette University and completed executive leadership programs at Yale School of Management and Northwestern University.
