Terrence Brady

Terrence R. Brady, known as Terry, is the retired Chief Executive Officer and President of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., where they set the strategic direction and priorities for safety science and public outreach. Previously, Terry held the position of Chief Commercial and Legal Officer at UL, managing critical legal and compliance functions. Before joining UL, Terry was a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP for 27 years, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Terry graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and Notre Dame Law School, where they served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. Currently, Terry chairs the board of Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep and serves on the board of the Chicago Botanic Garden.
