Tom Flicker

Tom Flicker currently serves as the Director of Sustainable Value Chain Initiatives at UL Solutions, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Tom was the Global Lead for Sustainable Product Innovation at Amazon from August 2020 to November 2023, where responsibilities included improving product sustainability and leading a team in developing sustainable strategies for owned brands. Tom's earlier experience includes a decade at Target, where positions ranged from Director of Sustainable Product Development to Lead Product Engineer, focusing on sustainable practices in product development across various categories. Tom's career began at Kimberly-Clark, where roles spanned multiple levels from Research Scientist to Technical Leader, contributing to advancements in personal care product technologies. Tom holds a PhD in Chemistry from Michigan Technological University and a BA in Chemistry from Saint John's University.
