Walter Parmiani

Walter Parmiani has extensive experience in laboratory management and safety, currently serving as Senior Laboratory Manager and Business Partner at UL International Italia srl since January 2008, in conjunction with the role of Operation Manager for the lighting division in the EMEA region at Underwriters Laboratories. Previously, Walter held the position of Project Manager for lighting products and industrial components at KEMA KEUR Italia (now Dekra) and was responsible for the electrical safety division at Globe Communications S.p.A. Walter's early career included roles as Laboratory Manager for the safety division at Nemko S.p.A. and co-owner and Technical Manager at Sequoia srl, a third-party lab, where ISO IEC 17025 accreditation was achieved. Walter began professional training as a Laboratory Technician at Quality Standard srl, specializing in luminaires and transformers testing, collaborating with industry leaders such as VDE, TUV, and IMQ.
