René Carpenter

Director of Marketing at Ulliance, Inc.

René Carpenter began their work experience as an Assistant Marketing/Merchandising Coordinator at F.L. Malik in 1996. René played a vital role in determining which clothing pieces stayed or went and assisted in showcasing the line to buyers. In 1999, René joined SWAC Distribution as a Marketing Coordinator, where they coordinated national branding and collaborated with local distributors to maintain a cohesive co-brand. René then joined Kapnick Insurance Group in 2004 as the Corporate Communications Manager. During their tenure, René managed and implemented corporate brand identity transitions throughout two acquisitions, developed marketing plans, and utilized digital marketing platforms to analyze success. Lastly, René became the Director of Marketing at Ulliance, Inc. in 2017. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing the company's overall strategic marketing plan, with a focus on positive behavioral change and employee well-being.

René Carpenter attended the College for Creative Studies from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Graphic Design. Following that, René pursued Marketing at Eastern Michigan University. In addition to their education, René obtained the HubSpot Inbound Certification from HubSpot Academy in April 2017.
