Grant Buttram, MD, MBA, FAANS, FACS has an extensive and varied work experience in the field of neurosurgery. Grant is currently the Chief Medical Officer and a Consultant for Product Development/Education at ulrich medical USA. Grant also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Campbell University School of Medicine. In addition, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Invictus Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Previously, they were a Neurosurgeon at UNC-Rex Neurosurgery and Spine and Raleigh Neurosurgical Clinic. Grant also worked as a Consultant for Product Development/Education at Medtronic Spine & Biologics. During their residency, they served as a Spine Fellow as well as a Neurosurgery Resident at UT-Memphis/Semmes Murphey Clinic. Dr. Buttram started their medical career as a Surgical Intern at UT MEMPHIS UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES.
Grant Buttram holds various degrees and certifications that prove their expertise in the field of medicine. Grant first completed their Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at North Carolina State University, followed by a Master of Science degree in Physiology. In 1998, they obtained their MD degree from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Grant later pursued a Master of Business Administration at Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business in 2017 and completed it the following year. In addition, they have several certifications, such as being board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and being a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
