Ame Igharo is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in strategic roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member at The Sustainability Consortium and a Senior Director of Sustainability Strategy at Ulta Beauty, Ame previously contributed as a Board Member for the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry & Eggs and as a Project Manager for Environmental Defense Fund's Resilient Food & Forests initiative. Additional consulting experience includes managing production operations at NextDayBetter and providing marketing and sustainability consulting. Ame co-founded the retail technology startup PeaCube, participated in the Acumen Fellowship focusing on clean cookstove initiatives, and held a Climate Corps Fellow position with Sustainable Jersey. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Studio Art from Williams College.
