Katie Doan is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in both the corporate and academic sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications - Operations at Ulta Beauty since March 2014, Katie has excelled in developing and executing strategic communication initiatives, managing a team, and ensuring effective messaging across various channels. Previous roles at Ulta included Senior Manager - Store Communications, where Katie implemented multi-faceted communication strategies, and Communications Specialist, where responsibilities included drafting executive communications and managing the editorial calendar. Prior to Ulta Beauty, Katie held positions as an Academic Advisor and Admissions Counselor at Benedictine University and Quincy University, respectively, focusing on student support and recruitment.
