Nicolas Gardner-Serna

Nicolas Gardner Serna is a seasoned political and community organizer with extensive experience in various roles within political campaigns and organizations. Currently serving as a Political and Community Organizer and Communications Specialist at United Teachers Los Angeles since September 2022, Nicolas has previously worked with the Sunrise Movement as Digital Lead and Digital Coordinator. Notably, during a campaign for Mia Livas Porter for State Assembly in 2022, Nicolas managed a field team that conducted significant voter outreach and successfully raised over $120,000 for a grassroots campaign. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Vanderbilt University, complemented by additional certificates in Digital Media and Marketing Strategies and Get Out The Vote, Nicolas combines educational expertise with practical experience in political strategy and community engagement.
