Eric Fritz, E.I.T. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Eric currently works at Ulteig as a Design Engineer. Previously, they worked at Blattner Energy as an Electrical Field Engineer, where they reviewed site engineering drawings, monitored construction progress, and assisted in managing field personnel and subcontractors. Eric also gained experience at Iowa State University, where they served as the Collegiate Wind Competition Turbine Team Lead, responsible for designing and testing a wind turbine. Eric also worked as a Power Systems Lab Research Engineer, conducting tests and developing guides for substation relay use. Additionally, Eric participated in a Senior Design Project with Black & Veatch, creating industry-standard substation protection and control diagrams, managing budgets, and serving as a communications liaison. Earlier in their career, Eric worked at House Truman Fund as a Field Organizer and at TRICOR Insurance, where they handled maintenance and served as a Computer Intern, optimizing processes and documenting insurance claims.
Eric Fritz, E.I.T., obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. In March 2019, they successfully obtained the Engineer In Training (E.I.T) certification from the Washington State Department of Licensing. Additionally, in November 2021, they completed the OSHA 30 certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
