Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the engineering and project management fields. Matt is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at Ulteig, where they manage the design of electric power distribution projects, renewables projects, and substation and transmission line projects. Prior to that, they spent nine years at Truck Crane Service Company, where they oversaw the engineering and dispatch operations for a large fleet of rental cranes and trucks. Before that, they worked as a Structural Test Engineer at All Test & Inspection Inc., where they managed and performed structural tests on cranes and heavy equipment. Matt also worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Cost, Planning & Management International (CPMI), where they handled correspondence, managed construction site operations, and organized meetings. Earlier in their career, they served as a Project Aide at the City of West Saint Paul, where they worked on road reconstruction projects and performed traffic counts.

Matt Thompson completed their education at the University of Minnesota from 1992 to 1998. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering.
