Melissa Wastell has a varied work experience in design and architecture. Melissa started their current role as the Design Technology Manager at Ulteig in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the BIM Manager at Ulteig from October 2020 to September 2022.
Before joining Ulteig, Melissa worked at Drewett Works as the BIM Director from March 2015 to October 2020. Melissa also has experience running their own consulting business, Melissa Ann's Consulting, LLC, from March 2008 to March 2015, where they specialized in design and architectural illustrations.
Melissa has previous experience as a Senior Account Manager at WMA Consulting from March 2004 to March 2014. Melissa also worked as a Job Captain at Yurkovic Design from August 2006 to March 2008, where they focused on architectural drafting and design using AutoCAD.
Additionally, Melissa gained experience as an Interior Design Intern at Est Est, Inc. from January 2004 to April 2004. In this role, they were responsible for hand drafting interior elevations, assisting with product and material selection, and organizing design specification binders.
Melissa Wastell pursued their education in the field of Interior Design and Business Management. From 2001 to 2005, they attended Mesa Community College and obtained an Associate's degree in Interior Design. Following that, they enrolled in Charter Oak State College from 2004 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a focus on Interior Design and Business Management.
In addition to their formal education, Melissa Wastell also obtained a certification in Revit Architecture 2015 from Autodesk in July 2016.
