Artur Akapian

Artur Akapian has over 16 years of experience in the field of systems engineering and IT administration. Artur currently holds the position of Associate Director of Systems Engineering at Ultima Genomics since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager of Systems Engineering at 10X Genomics from December 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining 10X Genomics, Artur served as an Operations Manager at Cisco from March 2016 to November 2018. Artur also held the role of Sr. IT Server Systems Administration at Jasper from July 2014 to March 2016, and was a System Administrator at Wipro from January 2014 to July 2014.

Artur Akapian gained valuable experience as a Windows System Administrator at KupidonSem LLC from January 2012 to November 2013, and at LILITA LLC from August 2008 to January 2012. Artur also worked as a Windows System Administrator at Dominik LLC from June 2007 to August 2008, and at Borovlyanskaya School from September 2005 to June 2007.

Throughout their career, Artur has demonstrated expertise in maintaining workstations and servers, configuring various Windows Server versions and VMware, providing day-to-day support, creating and managing networks, installing and troubleshooting software and hardware, and resolving connectivity issues.

Artur Akapian completed their high school education at High School in Minsk, Belarus from 2000 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Belarussian National Technical University from 2002 to 2007.
