Ultima Genomics
Hao Guan is a Mechanical Engineer currently working at Ultima Genomics since July 2022, with previous experience as a Product Engineer. Prior to this role, Hao served as a Design Lead at UC San Diego Health, where responsibilities included managing a team for the design and assembly of an ear exam trainer and developing a MATLAB interface for otoscope positioning. Additionally, experience as a Design Engineer at Scripps Institution of Oceanography involved programming data collection systems and sensor calibrations. As a Plumbing Engineer at the Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, Hao engineered plumbing systems for a liquid bipropellant rocket and conducted thermal fluid analysis. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, along with significant leadership and tutoring experience in various engineering organizations.
