Tom Heijmans

Tom Heijmans is a System Architect and Team Lead at Ultimaker, where they transitioned from a materials engineer to a role focused on process engineering in 3D printing. They began their journey at Ultimaker in 2015 as a material intern and later worked as a Process Engineer, optimizing printing profiles and procedures. Over time, Tom assumed architectural responsibilities, aligning machine design with customer requirements across multiple product development cycles. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, along with a Bachelor’s Degree and a certificate in Technology Management.
