William J. Boston

William J. Boston has a wealth of experience in the manufacturing industry. William J. began their career in 2002 as a CNC Machinist, CMM Operator, Fixture Builder/Upgrader, Fabrication Saw Hand, and Shipping and Receiving at ASTRO-NETICS INC. In 2009, they joined Independence Tooling Solutions as a Data Processor, CNC Programmer, Processing/Certification/Quality Manager, and Processing/CNC/Outsource Manager. In 2017, they became a Program Manager at Prestige Group, where they were responsible for estimating costs of new projects, scheduling open projects company-wide, and communicating customer requirements and standards to the shop floor. In 2018, they joined Sharp Tooling Solutions as an Account Manager and Operations Manager, Project Processing and Planning. In their role as Account Manager, they developed customer relationships in the aerospace and defense industries, estimated cost and timing requirements for new projects, and negotiated contracts. As Operations Manager, they developed processes and standard operating procedures to streamline communication from project management to the manufacturing floor, created tools for tracking project progress and key milestones utilizing ERP environment and MS Office products, and developed manufacturing procedures to increase through-put and streamline the manufacturing process. Most recently, in 2021, they joined UHI Group as a Program Manager.

William J. Boston attended Oakland Community College from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management.
