Emily Walton has a diverse work experience in various roles. Emily is currently employed as a Senior Lab Technologist at Ultivue since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Lab Technologist at Ultivue from June 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Ultivue, Emily worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Technical Research Assistant from July 2019 to June 2021. Emily'sresponsibilities included optimizing immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence stains on paraffin sections for research projects, utilizing automated staining machines, and analyzing staining using HALO imaging software. Emily also has experience as a Volunteer Undergraduate Researcher at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from February 2018 to May 2019, where they conducted laboratory procedures such as RNA extraction and Real-time reverse transcriptase PCR, collaborated on experiments and tissue collections from various fish, and learned how to analyze and write scientific papers. Additionally, they volunteered as a Grill Cook at High Grain Bread Co. from June 2016 to January 2018, where they worked in high-stress situations to effectively serve customers, conducted cleaning and sanitizing procedures in compliance with food safety standards.
