Ralf Jungmann

Ralf Jungmann is a Full Professor and Chair at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München since August 2016, where Ralf previously held the positions of Associate Professor (with Tenure) and Associate Professor (Tenure Track). Ralf Jungmann has been a Max Planck Fellow and Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry since December 2014. In addition, Ralf Jungmann is a Co-Founder of Massive Photonics since October 2019 and Ultivue, Inc. since September 2015. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering from March 2011 to November 2014 and a PhD stint at Technische Universität München from November 2007 to February 2011. Ralf Jungmann's academic journey began as a Physics Diploma Student at the University of California Santa Barbara from October 2005 to October 2006, culminating in a Dipl.-Phys. degree in Physics, Biomechanics, and Nanotechnology from Universität des Saarlandes in 2006.
